Change of month is just a matter of days. In March 2021 there are a number of interesting games that will be released to the public by well-known publishers, such as Sega, Capcom, to Square Enix.
Some of these games will be available on several platforms at once, from PC, PlayStation 4 (PS4), PlayStation 5 (PS5), Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S, to Nintendo Switch. There is also a premiere on the new console.
Because there are quite a lot of them, here are 5 games that are roughly the most interesting and worth the wait.
- Harvest Moon: One World
Harvest Moon game fans will now be treated to a new game entitled Harvest Moon: One World. Unlike other Harvest Moon series, this game will put players in a strange world because the residents never taste vegetables.
Players will then be given directions through an old book that contains instructions on how to grow crops, an activity that has characterized this game for a long time.
Harvest Moon: One World is still being designed by Natsume and will be released on March 2 on PS4 and Nintendo Switch. This game is also confirmed to be present on Xbox One, but the release date has not been revealed.
- Yakuza Series
The Japanese game company, Sega, will release two Yakuza series games, namely Yakuza: Like a Dragon and Yakuza 6: The Song of Life, on two new platforms next month.
These two games are actually not brand-new games. Yakuza: Like a Dragon is now available on PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S, and PC. Meanwhile, Yakuza 6: The Song of Life can be played exclusively on PS4 for a few years.
Even so, its presence on the new platform will broaden the user base and fans of the Yakuza game series in general. Yakuza: Like a Dragon will be released on PS5 on March 2, while Yakuza 6: The Song of Life will be available for purchase starting March 25 by Xbox One and PC users.
- Apex Legends
The popular battle royale game released by Electronic Arts (EA) developed by Respawn Entertainment, Apex Legends, has been released on PC, PS4, and Xbox One since 2019. Now, EA plans to bring the game to other platforms, one of which is the Nintendo Switch.
Unlike the PC, PS4, and Xbox One versions, the Nintendo Switch version of Apex Legends was developed by Panic Button, the game studio that designed the Forza Horizon 4 racing car game and the RPG Torchlight 2 game.
The shooting team game is planned to be played by Nintendo Switch users on March 9.
- Monster Hunter Rise
Street Fighter series game maker, Capcom, does not seem to want to be outdone by other game companies and will release its newest game from the popular RPG series Monster Hunter.
The game is titled Monster Hunter Rise and will be released exclusively on Nintendo Switch on March 26.
Unlike the other Monster Hunter series, Monster Hunter Rise will be equipped with a number of new features.
Two of them are accessories in the form of “Wirebug” wires that can be used to explore the world by jumping and running on walls, as well as a mechanism for riding a brand-new flying monster nicknamed “Wyvern Riding”.
- Kingdom Hearts Series
PlayStation game console users may have heard of one of the RPG game series from Square Enix entitled Kingdom Hearts.
Now, the game series that introduces the characters Sora, Kairi, Riku, and several other characters from the Disney series such as Donald and Goofy, will visit the PC platform for the first time.
There will be several Kingdom Hearts games launched simultaneously on March 30 on PC through the Epic Games Store game distribution platform.
They are Kingdom Hearts Melody of Memory, Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 Remix, Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 Remix, Kingdom Hearts 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue, Kingdom Hearts 3, and Kingdom Hearts 3: Re Mind.
